I have not yet decided what career I want to pursue. The study I have been most interested in is either a software or mechanical engineer.  What prompted me to enter this career field was a robotics team I participated in, in 9th grade. I decided this was the right career path for me in 10th grade.

I took an engineering class at my old school in 9th grade and I have taken multiple computer programming classes in middle school and high school. I have learned how to use and code arduino boards which could help me in the future by helping me learn how code works and how to code.

  I was involved in a VEX robotics team when I was in 9th grade and that taught me teamwork skills because each member of the team had their own special set of skills that brought the whole team together.  Another activity that I participate in and have been doing for most of my life is Boy Scouts of America which has helped me tremendously with learning how to be a good leader and setting goals for myself. I do wreck soccer which could help me because it has taught me how to work as a team with people I may not like or people that I think may not be very good at soccer, so instead of putting down on them I have learned to try to teach them and make them better. I have not been employed yet, but I am looking for jobs to submit applications for. 

 I have thought about joining the navy but I'm not sure if I will or not. The reason I would join would be because it offers many different opportunities, however, I wouldn't want to have to move to a different state or country every few years. I will attend a community college because it is much cheaper to do my undergrad classes at a community college than going to an actual college. I will attend a four year college because going to college and getting my degree will help me find a fair paying job in the field that I want to work in. I have thought attending a trade school but don't think I will because I think that going to a four year college will help me in the field of work I want to do than a trade school will.  I am considering to work as an apprentice because I think that working as an apprentice would be a great way to gain experience and provide me the skills I will need for my future work. I will go straight into the workforce Because I want to further strengthen my experience in the workforce and strengthen my resume. 

after achieving my career goal I will affect the community that I live in by making things that will benefit all of society and will meet societies needs. the impact that I will have on the world when I attain my dream will have a positive impact because I will make things that could alter the way in which we live in a positive way.
