About Me

Welcome to my website! My name is Mainak, and I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I am pursuing my Ph.D. in ultrafast spectroscopy on two-dimensional systems.

My research interests include Optical microscopy, ultrafast spectroscopy, two-dimensional materials, and quantum technologies. I have published three papers in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as Optical imaging-based layer number identification and defect creation in two-dimensional materials using electron beam irradiation. I have also presented my research at two international conferences.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I am passionate about traveling, movies, and novels.

I created this website to share my research, insights, and ideas with others who are interested in experimental condensed matter physics or optics. I hope that you find my website informative and engaging and that it inspires you to explore the fascinating world of Quantum physics.

Thank you for visiting my website, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
