Strategic Communications and Advocacy Specialist
I help organisations turn complex ideas, evidence and experiences into clear, compelling communication. With extensive experience across international development, humanitarian action and environmental work, I bring together strategic communications, editorial leadership, storytelling and advocacy. My work spans publications and knowledge products, communication strategies, digital content, media and multimedia storytelling.
Colours of hope: partnering for rights and dignity is a photographic journey into the lives of displaced Rohingya living in Bangladesh and the communities that host them. The photo book captures the Australian Humanitarian Partnership Consortium's work in Bangladesh and offers a glimpse into how the consortium addresses the ongoing needs of displaced Rohingya and affected host communities.

কক্সবাজারকে ‘বয়কট’ করলেই কি এসব সমস্যার সমাধান হয়ে যাবে? [Will Boycotting Cox's Bazar Solve All Its Problems?]
The Op-Ed delves into the pressing issues plaguing Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh's renowned tourist hub, such as security lapses, harassment, overpricing, and insufficient infrastructure. It critiques the notion of boycotting the destination as a response to these problems, arguing that such actions are counterproductive. Instead, the piece advocates for a collaborative approach involving authorities, local stakeholders, and tourists to address the challenges and improve the destination's appeal and sustainability.
Currently at ICIMOD, I lead editorial work that translates complex technical knowledge into communication people can understand, use, and act on.
I chaired the DFAT–AHP Consortium’s Communication and Advocacy Working Group, leading communication and advocacy strategies for major emergency response programmes. At ACF, I led Communications with Communities, contributing to the Rohingya Joint Response Plan and ACF’s Cox’s Bazar Strategy.
My commitment to environmental conservation and human development shaped my communications work at WildTeam. As a people-centred communicator, I build strong relationships and work effectively with diverse teams. I bring expertise in communications, advocacy and project management to advancing sustainable development.
