The CNC XY Plotter is required to plot two dimensional continuous or discontinuous data on a rectangular coordinate system. This project is done to fabricate a XY plotter using independent motion along X-direction and Y-direction, and microcontroller system (Arduino) to control those motions. Implementation of this project is carried out through the computer linked with the Arduino software, to which the G-code is transmitted by the Processing software. The plotter has been fabricated with cheap and available materials, retaining the accuracy and efficiency.

Parallel plate heat exchanger with miniature baffles

We have designed a parallel plate heat exchanger with miniature baffles. The baffles create turbulence and increases flow path, which in turns enhance heat transfer. This design can be modified to create industrial grade heat exchanger with high heat transfer rate.
