Research statement

I am a computational biologist with a core computer science background and a strong proficiency in algorithmic analyses and data pipeline design. I have a keen interest in using mathematical modeling to tackle biological questions and leverage my computer science expertise to provide solutions. During my PhD, I specialized in theoretically analyzing sketching methods and developed lightweight, efficient software solutions for managing large-scale genomic data. I am passionate about applying theory and algorithms to address various computational and biological challenges, and I am open to exploring new research questions across disciplines.
