Welcome to my official website! I am Dr. Mahmoud Magdi Elsayed, a dedicated neurosurgery resident physician, researcher, and advocate for healthcare excellence and equity. My journey in medicine is fueled by a passion for neurosurgery, movement disorders, and global health, with a special focus on supporting individuals with disabilities.

Who I Am

I am a first-generation medical graduate who overcame personal challenges to pursue a career in medicine. My path has been marked by perseverance, a relentless pursuit of knowledge, and a commitment to advancing healthcare through clinical practice, research, and mentorship. Currently, I serve as a Neurosurgery Resident Physician at Mansoura Specialized Hospital under the Egyptian Fellowship Training Program. I am also the youngest Deputy Hospital Director at this institution, where I strive to improve healthcare delivery and foster an environment of teamwork and growth.

My Vision

My vision is to become a leading physician-scientist in neurosurgery, making impactful contributions to clinical research, patient care, and medical education. I aim to bridge the gap between research and practice, ensuring that scientific discoveries lead to tangible benefits for patients worldwide.

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt

- Licensure: Egyptian Medical Licensing Examination (EMLE) - Pass

I have also pursued specialized training and certifications from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School, Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, and the Incision Academy.

Research & Leadership

As a passionate researcher, I have had the privilege of contributing to multiple international studies. My roles have ranged from national lead to hospital lead in studies conducted by the **World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies**, **NIHR Global Health Research Unit**, and **GlobalSurg Collaborative**. I am also the **Founder and CEO of MME Research Foundation**, an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of clinical research through education and practice.

My research focuses on neurosurgery, ophthalmology, trauma, and neurological diseases. I have authored and presented numerous research papers at leading global conferences, including the Society for Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), and American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).

Through my role as President of Mansoura University Safety Society (MUSS)**, I have organized events that raise awareness of global health challenges and have mentored students and young researchers.
