Our Mission
At Mahjong Chicago, we are dedicated to fostering community, connection, and cultural heritage through the art of Mahjong. Our mission is to create an inclusive environment where players of all ages and backgrounds can share joy, build friendships, and celebrate the rich traditions of this timeless game. We strive to promote mental wellness and social interaction by enriching our local community through engaging events and educational opportunities.
Since 2017, Mahjong Chicago has shared a passion for this game by offering instruction in the Filipino style. We find this style to be an excellent entry point for beginners and a rewarding mental exercise for players of any level, providing a foundation to adapt to other Mahjong variations with ease.
We welcome you to join us and discover a new, cherished way to connect with family and friends.
