Our Mission
At Mahjong Chicago, we are dedicated to fostering community, connection, and cultural heritage through the art of Mahjong. Our mission is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where players of all ages and backgrounds can come together to share joy, build friendships, and celebrate the rich traditions of this timeless game. We strive to promote mental wellness and social interaction while enriching the local community through engaging events, educational opportunities, and a vibrant mahjong culture.
Since 2017, Mahjong Chicago has been spreading awareness and sharing their passion for this popular game, by offering instructions starting with the Filipino-style. We consider the Filipino-style to be a great entry point for beginners. From here, players can quickly adapt into other mahjong styles with ease and confidence. We welcome you to join us and discover a fun, new way to connect with friends and family.
