Wiwin Hartini
Wiwin is a first-generation college student from Indonesia. She received her BS in Electrical Engineering from Portland State University in 2020, after transferring from Clark College, and currently pursuing her Master's degree focusing on Power Electronics research advised by Dr. Gupta. Her research interests are in power electronics applications in renewable energy integration. She is passionate about helping students in STEM through tutoring/mentoring and currently supports historically underrepresented students in STEM as a student coordinator for the Scholars for Success in STEM Program at PSU.
Araz Saleki
Araz is a currently working towards his Ph.D. degree.
Abhijeet Prem
Abhijeet is an international graduate student from India. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, in 2019. During his BS, he was actively involved with research work in robotics at the Humanitarian Technology (HuT) Labs. Before joining PSU, he interned with a couple of startups working on robotics and powered personal respirator projects. Currently, he is working towards a master’s degree focusing on embedded systems and power electronics research, advised by Dr. Gupta.
He is curious about how things work, loves problem-solving, and is passionate about helping/mentoring others. He volunteers with the Computer Action Team, the IT organization for MCECS, to offer tech support for the users on campus. During his free time, he loves to go on bike rides, hikes, wander around places to take photographs and work with his friends on video and music-related projects.
Daisy Delgado-Zaragoza
Daisy is a graduate of Portland State University, earning a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering in June 2022. Her senior capstone project was based on designing, building and testing a converter that includes a DC transformer with a programmable turns ratio. She will further her education by working towards her Masters in Electrical Engineering and research focused in power electronics with advisor Dr. Gupta

Diego Romero
Diego is a high school student who worked as an intern during the summer of 2022, building a portable wind turbine. His internship was through the Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering program at Saturday Academy. He is passionate about climate change and finding solutions through STEM.
