One-on-one training is ideal for dog owners who want to be hands-on and actively involved in their dog’s training journey. During these sessions, you will be instructed and guided through the fundamentals of training your own dog with the mindset and techniques of a professional dog trainer.
Sessions take place in a variety of locations, selected specifically to support your dog’s individual needs and real-world challenges. One-on-one training is most commonly used for behavior modification, neutrality training, and foundational obedience.
Our Board & Train program is designed for owners who want to fast-track their dog’s training with focused, immersive structure. If you are looking for reliable basic to advanced obedience in a shorter timeframe, neutrality training, or behavior modification for reactive or aggressive dogs, this program delivers results.
Mahi K9 Co.’s Board & Train program has a two-week minimum. During your dog’s stay, you will receive frequent photo and video updates, along with video calls upon request—for the humans experiencing a little separation anxiety. Off-leash training is included in every Board & Train program when requested and appropriate for the dog.

Once your dog returns home, consistency is critical. We can train your dog to an exceptional standard, but maintaining that training is your responsibility. If the structure and expectations are not continued, progress will fade. A well-trained dog is not a one-time achievement—it is a lifelong commitment.

Mahi K9 Co. Off leash training course will take your dog with no leash manners, to being able to walk perfectly with you OFF LEASH.
This training course spans over three months, with weekly 1 on 1 sessions. It includes an E-Collar which you get to keep once graduated from the training course. We begin with E-Collar conditioning & set weekly accomplishment goals for each dog to achieve before the next session.
