I was born on 9th August 2000 in Lahore, Pakistan. I excelled in studying from a young age but It was during my O-level that I found Physics interesting. My interest in Physics kept growing as I progressed further and further in my academic journey. During my A-level I stumbled across the channel 'Sixty Symbols' on Youtube. I watched the channel obsessively and grew passionate about Astronomy as well. Since the professors presenting on the channel were affiliated with the University of Nottingham, Nottingham became my dream destination for further studies. Luckily, I scored well in my A-level and was privileged enough to pursue my Bachelor's in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Nottingham, thanks to my loving parents. Towards the end of my degree my passion shifted from Astronomy to Theoretical Physics for which I am extremely grateful to all my teachers. I graduated from Nottingham in 2023. Now, my interests lie in using Differential Geometry to tackle problems inspired by Physics and broadly speaking Mathematical Physics.
I would like to mention that Kirill Krasnov's brilliant lectures (delivered in 2023) got me interested in differential geometry in the first place. I would go to every office hour and bombard him with seemingly endless questions. He answered each and every question with extreme care and attention which is really commendable. My dicussions and interactions with him were so enlightening and beneficial to me. He helped me see the beauty of this subject and most of my motivation to work on my lecture notes on differential geometry is due to this beauty.Â
