Dr. Mahendra Shukla is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Information Technology, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Gwalior. Prior to that, he was working with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, The LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur, India as an Assistant Professor. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow with Prof. Ha H. Nguyen in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Saskatchewan, Canada, in 2019-2020. He received the Ph.D. degree in from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj, India, and M.Tech. degree from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, India. He is an associate editor for the IEEE Sensors Letters, an Area Editor for Elsevier Physical Communication, an Editor (Technical Committee) for Elsevier Computer Communications, and Review Editor for Frontiers in Communications and Networks. He also served as a TPC Member for several IEEE events, including IEEE VTC and IEEE WCNC. He is also a senior member of IEEE.

His research interests include cooperative relaying for wireless networks, energy harvesting, physical layer security, NOMA, and signal processing.
