I did a PhD in Computer Science (Operations Research) at the Paul Verlaine University - Metz (its current name is Université de Lorraine,). After doing some postdoctoral programs (mainly in Computer Science departments), I was working at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern until end of August 2022. Since September 1, 2022 I am associate professor in computer science at the ENSIIE and the research lab. SAMOVAR (Télécom SudParis) of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
Currently, I do my teaching and research activities in Operations Research (O.R) that is my favorite field of research and teaching. My research activities focus on applications of O.R and on the borderline between theory and application. I have published several original research papers and I got the title of Habilitation in Computer Science (Operations Research) from the University of Paul Sabatier - Toulouse (in France).
If you are interested in having scientific collaboration with me, and if we have some common research interests, please don't hesitate to write me an e-mail.
Since September 2022: Associate Professor in Computer Science (Operations Research, Machine Learning, and Sustainability) at the ENSIIE (École Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique pour l'Industrie et l'Entreprise) (France). I am permanent member of the research lab SAMOVAR (Télécom SudParis) of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
October 2014 - September 2022: Lecturer (adjunct) at the chair of Business Information Systems and Operations Research (BISOR), Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, (Germany).
In November-December 2021, I was visiting professor (first class professor) (for one month) at the University of Lorraine (in France) to cooperate with the research members of the Computer Science department (in Metz).

2018: Habilitation in Computer Science (Operations Research),
Title: Contributions in Nonconvex and Discrete Optimization: Theory, Algorithms, and Applications.
Advisor: Prof. Marcel Mongeau
At: University of Paul Sabatier - Toulouse (France);
Date of defense: February 05, 2018.
2005 - 2008: PhD in Computer Science (Operational Research)
Title: DC Programming and DCA for Portfolio Optimization
At: Paul Verlaine University – Metz (UPV-M), (its current name is: Université de Lorraine), France.
Date of defense: June 27, 2008.
Description: Objective of the thesis was developing efficient algorithms (based on Branch-and-Bound algorithms as well as DC programming techniques) in order to solve large-scale non-convex programming problems. The domain of the applications was finance but the introduced algorithms can be adapted for solving similar problems in different domains of science and engineering.
