Hi ! I am Mahbubul Islam.
I am graduate with a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from United International University (UIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. My research during my graduate studies focused on social computing, human personality and preference under the supervision of Dr. SH Mukta. Before this, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST).
I am currently collaborating with UIU Underwater Robotics Lab with the supervision of Dr. AKM Muzahidul Islam and Cognitive Links, LLC under the supervision of Dr. Faisal Quader, Dr. Thanh Thi Naguyen and Dr. Abdulaziz Tabbakh. My research interests focus on developing interactive Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) tools by using AI, Social Computing, NLP, and Gamification. I also work with machine learning, data mining and embedded system to develop intelligent, context-aware systems for personalized experiences. Previously, I worked as research assistant (Remote) with Dr. Shah Mohammad Bahauddin, LASP and collaborated research under the supervision of Dr. Arshia Khan, UMD.
Beside research also I am working as an Network Engineer (Assistant Manager, Core Network) at Summit Communications Limited. Previously, I worked as a Senior Support Engineer (Core Network) at Link3 Technologies.
