I’ve always loved observing the night sky. I grew up (along with amazing friends) in the small, beautiful town of Bhanjanagar in Odisha (India). I was lucky to have clear skies, thanks to minimal light pollution.
My professional night sky observation journey began by watching the winter sky back in 2013 with Soumya Bhai and Archana at the Big Dipper Astronomy Club, Bhubaneswar. I still remember those days as vividly as if they happened yesterday. The winter sky boasts several bright constellations such as Orion, Auriga, Canis Major, Canis Minor, Taurus and Gemini. The alpha (or beta) stars of their respective constellations form a hexagon known as the "Winter Hexagon" asterism.
Over time, I developed a passion for mobile astrophotography. Using just a mobile phone and a tripod, I’ve captured some of the beauty beyond our world. Here, I am sharing some of these images, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed capturing them.

The Universe is 13.7 billion years old. We live in an ordinary spiral galaxy and a solar system that orbits an old yellow dwarf star, the Sun. The Sun has eight planets, with Earth being the third planet, though not the largest. However, Earth is the only planet we know that harbors life.
