I have the opportunity of working in the bio-fluids laboratory in the department of Mechanical Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in my undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Dr. A.B.M. Toufique Hasan, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET).
To keep with the challenges in global health and related fluid dynamics, the department of Mechanical Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) is conducted a project title "Development of Research Facilities on Biomedical Fluid Flow Phenomena (CP2099)" that has been awarded as a sub-project of Academic Innovation Fund (AIF-2nd round) under Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) implemented by University Grants Commission (UGC) through Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of Bangladesh (GoB). Under this sub-project, the state-of-the-art experimental and computational facilities in biomedical fluid flow simulation has developed in BioFluids Laboratory, ME, BUET. This sub-project is expected to improve the quality and competence in research for the betterment of human life to the nation as well in the globe.
Sub-Project Type: Promoting Innovative Research & Research Facilities
Funding: AIF grant of BDT 2,93,98,000/- (UGC-HEQEP Contract no. 28/2012; 10/04/12)
Project Duration: April 2012 to March 2014 (2 years)
