Privacy Policy for Magyar Billentyűzet
Effective date: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Magyar Billentyűzet (the "App"), provided by Future Dot Soft (the "Provider," "we," "us," or "our"), processes information when you use the App and its custom keyboard extension.
1. Privacy by Design
A keyboard may have access to sensitive information. Magyar Billentyűzet is designed so that raw typed text, sentences, message contents, passwords, and complete text context are not transmitted to the Provider.
The keyboard extension itself does not make network requests. When information is transmitted, the containing App performs the transmission.
The App has no user accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other contact details.
Magyar Billentyűzet does not use data for advertising, does not sell personal data, does not use the IDFA, and does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
2. Information Processed Only on Your Device
The following information may be processed or stored locally:
- text temporarily required to enter characters, provide suggestions, and apply autocorrection
- a personal language model containing words and word relationships learned from your typing
- keyboard preferences and settings
- aggregate local counters for insertions, deletions, corrections, and accepted suggestions
- QuickFill information you choose to save, such as your name, email address, phone number, address, or a custom value
QuickFill information and the personal language model remain on your device and are not included in telemetry uploads.
The personal language model can be deleted using the "Megtanult szavak törlése" control in the App. Individual QuickFill values can be deleted by clearing the corresponding fields.
The "Felhasználó törlése" (Delete user) control at the bottom of the App deletes, in one step, your QuickFill values, the personal language model, the local counters, and any analytics still waiting on the device, deletes the rotating analytics identifier, and turns analytics sharing off. Keyboard preferences are kept. Purchases, subscriptions, and benefits determined from Apple's records (Section 6) are not affected.
Password fields and other fields identified as secure are excluded from learning and usage statistics.
3. Full Access
iOS may ask you to enable "Allow Full Access" for the keyboard. Full Access allows the keyboard and the containing App to use a shared on-device container for settings, QuickFill values, locally learned information, and pending telemetry.
Although iOS technically permits a keyboard with Full Access to use the network, the Magyar Billentyűzet keyboard extension does not make network connections. Any permitted upload is performed by the containing App.
The basic keyboard remains usable if Full Access is not granted, although features that depend on shared storage may be unavailable.
4. Optional Analytics and Keyboard Improvement Data
Analytics sharing is optional and disabled by default. You can enable or disable it using the "Analitikus adatok gyűjtése" switch in the App.
The keyboard may calculate and buffer eligible dictionary-based counters locally. While analytics sharing is disabled, those counters are not transmitted. If you later enable analytics, eligible locally buffered counters may be included in a subsequent upload.
When analytics sharing is enabled, the following categories may be transmitted:
Dictionary-coded word statistics
For a word already present in the shipped dictionary, the App can replace the word with its numerical position, or "word ID," within a particular dictionary version. It may also record pairs of IDs representing which known dictionary word followed another.
These IDs are coded representations of dictionary entries, not raw text and not cryptographically irreversible values. We maintain the corresponding dictionary versions and may therefore interpret an ID as the matching dictionary entry. However:
- text that is not present in the dictionary cannot be represented or transmitted through this system
- full sentences, message contents, and surrounding text are not transmitted
- exact occurrence counts are not transmitted
- a word or word pair must be observed at least twice before it is eligible for upload
- counts are converted into broad base-2 frequency ranges
- data from secure fields is excluded
A known dictionary word used as a personal name, address component, or in another context may still be represented if the host application does not identify the field as sensitive or machine-formatted text.
Word and word-pair statistics are used to improve dictionary ranking, autocorrection, and next-word suggestions. A word or pair is included in model-development reports only after it has been received from at least 50 distinct rotating identifiers. This threshold applies to development reports and does not mean that the original server-side contribution does not exist before the threshold is reached.
Technical and interaction diagnostics
We may collect:
- device model category
- operating system, App, build, and dictionary versions
- enabled keyboard settings, such as the autocorrection level
- keyboard launch, drawing, dictionary-loading, query-time, memory, and background-upload measurements
- whether Full Access was available
- field characteristics reported by the host application, such as keyboard type, content type, secure-field status, and layout type
- numerical descriptions of available text context, such as character and word counts, without the text itself
- suggestion availability, word length, suggestion acceptance, correction type, and correction reversal
- haptic or keyboard-click attempt status
- the bundle identifier of the application in which the keyboard was used
- event and upload timestamps
- a randomly generated analytics identifier that normally rotates every 30 days
- an optional short diagnostic label if you voluntarily set one
The analytics identifier is not the IDFA, an Apple ID, or a permanent hardware identifier. Because the App has no accounts, analytics records are not connected to an account.
5. How Analytics Is Transmitted
Pending analytics is written to the shared on-device App container. If you have enabled analytics, the containing App may upload it over an encrypted HTTPS connection when the App is opened or through an iOS background task.
The keyboard extension does not make the upload itself.
6. Purchases and Early-User Benefits
The App does not offer or require an account.
To decide which features are available to you, the App reads information that Apple provides on your device: the date and App version of your original download from the App Store, and any active in-app purchases or subscriptions. This information is signed by Apple, is tied to your Apple Account, and is available on your devices signed in with that Apple Account. The App processes it on your device and does not send it to us.
The App downloads the current list of features and prices from our server. This request contains no information about you, your device, or your purchases.
Apple processes purchases, subscriptions, and your Apple Account under Apple's own privacy policy.
7. Service Providers
We use Supabase to provide database and backend infrastructure. Supabase and its infrastructure subprocessors may process information solely to provide, secure, maintain, and support these services.
Network providers may automatically process information such as IP addresses and request metadata for routing, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and security logging. We do not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Service providers receiving information must protect it consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
8. Purposes and Legal Bases
Where European data-protection law applies, we process information on the following bases:
- Consent: optional analytics and keyboard-improvement uploads
- Performance of a contract or your request: providing keyboard functions, determining available features, and App Store purchase handling
- Legitimate interests: securing the App and backend, preventing abuse, and maintaining service reliability, where those interests do not override your rights
- Legal obligations: where processing or retention is required by applicable law
You may withdraw analytics consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing performed before withdrawal.
9. Retention and Deletion
On-device preferences, QuickFill values, personal learning data, and local counters remain until you clear them, use "Felhasználó törlése" (Delete user), delete the relevant App data, or remove the App. "Felhasználó törlése" keeps keyboard preferences.
Pending telemetry remains locally until it is successfully transmitted, becomes unusable because of a dictionary change, is deleted with "Felhasználó törlése", or the local App data is removed.
Uploaded pseudonymous telemetry is retained only while reasonably necessary to evaluate, secure, and improve the keyboard. Records that are no longer needed are deleted or converted into aggregated statistics. Aggregated statistics that no longer identify a device or analytics identifier may be retained for long-term product measurement.
Turning off analytics:
- prevents further analytics uploads
- cancels pending background-upload requests where supported by iOS; and
- deletes the current rotating analytics identifier from the device
Turning off analytics does not automatically delete information already uploaded. Because telemetry is intentionally not connected to any account and its identifier rotates, we may be unable to identify all historical records belonging to one person. You may nevertheless request deletion, and we will delete information that we can reasonably identify, subject to legal obligations.
For deletion requests beyond the on-device data, contact us using the address below.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request:
- access to personal data
- correction of inaccurate data
- deletion
- restriction of processing
- objection to certain processing
- data portability; and
- withdrawal of consent
You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. In Hungary, the supervisory authority is the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH): https://www.naih.hu/
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections, restricted database permissions, data minimization, and the absence of user accounts.
No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Children
The App is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us so that we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its data practices, or applicable requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
