Emergency Hubs are places where people can gather to get or give help after a disaster.
Neighbors exchange information and resources, and help each other solve problems.
Information is shared with the community and between other hubs.
There are over 100 hubs prepared to activate across the city after a disaster.
Radio volunteers enhance communications with other hubs and the Seattle Emergency Operations Center.
The hub works to match resources available with needs.
Volunteers can be provided.
Emergency Hubs will be staffed by volunteers as soon as possible after a disaster.
A Hub is not a government agency, an emergency shelter, fire/medic station, or a food and water supplier.
A Hub is where you can go to learn where to find what you need.
