Sunday, November 1 - Magnolia Emergency Hubs - "Stop the Bleed" Training - 3:00pm - Magnolia Lutheran Church (Luther Hall)
A free training event, offered by Magnolia Hubs in conjunction with Seattle Office of Emergency Management and Magnolia Lutheran Church, to help you prepare for a major emergency.
Life-threatening bleeding injuries can happen any time. When they do, every minute counts! "Stop the Bleed" empowers participants to take action (recognize life-threatening bleeding, bleeding control, etc)
Instructors teach about bleeding control, using a tournique, and packing and applying pressure to a would. The class. scheduled for 60 minutes, will include simulated hands-on exercises.

We aspire to having multiple Hubs staffed and available for a trial activation by August, 2027.
Making this happen will require a tremendous coordinated effort by volunteers and the Magnolia community at large. Let's make it happen!
