Saturday, August 8 - Magnolia Village Emergency Hub - Trial setup - 10am - 1pm
Visit the Magnolia Village Hub (South end of Magnolia Playfield, at 33rd Ave W & W Smith St) to learn how the Hub would be set up after a major disaster. Talk to Hub operators, and learn how to get involved.
Wednesday, August 12 - Magnolia Emergency Hubs - Monthly Team Meeting - 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Held at Magnolia Lutheran Church (2414 31st Ave W) - Library
Magnolia Emergency Hubs teams meet regularly on the second Wednesday of each month. All are welcome to attend.
Saturday, August 15 - "Quake, Rattle, and Roll" - City-wide Emergency Exercise w/4 Hubs - 10am - 1pm
See a Hub in action, at four Hubs in the Seattle Emergency Hubs network that will be "activated". You might even be able to participate as a volunteer (with a "script" where you act out a role as a person offering or seeking help or information, to give Hub managers practice for the real thing. The four Hubs are:
Roosevelt Hub (Calvary Christian Assembly Church, 6801 Roosevelt Way NE)
Madison Valley Hub (MLK Fame Community Center, 3201 E. Republican St.)
Rainier Beach (Rainier Beach Community Club, 6038 S. Pilgrim St)
West Seattle (Morgan Junction park, 6401 California Ave SW)

A free training event, offered by Magnolia Hubs and Seattle Emergency Hubs, to help you and your family prepare for a major emergency.
TBD - August, 2027 - Magnolia Emergency Hubs - Trial Activation
We aspire to having multiple Hubs staffed and available for a trial activation by August, 2027.
Making this happen will require a tremendous coordinated effort by volunteers and the Magnolia community at large. Let's make it happen!
