Dibyendu Shekhar Rana ("we," "our," or "us") operates the My Camera App (the "Application"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.
1. Information Collection and Use
While using our Application, we require access to certain permissions to provide the core functionality of a magnifying camera tool.
Camera Access
Our application requires access to your device’s camera. This is used solely to:
Provide a live preview on your screen.
Allow for digital zooming and image freezing.
Enable the "Flash" (Torch) and "Macro/Bright" modes.
We do not record, store, or transmit your camera feed to any external servers.
Storage and Media
When you use the "Save" feature, the application captures the current frame from the camera preview and saves it as a JPEG image to your device's public "Pictures" folder.
We use the MediaStore API to save these images.
The application only writes files that you explicitly choose to save.
We do not access your existing photos, videos, or private files.
2. Data Transmission
No Internet Access: Based on the technical design of this version of the application, it does not request the android.permission.INTERNET permission. Therefore, no data (including photos or usage statistics) is transmitted from your device to us or any third party.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application does not use third-party services (such as Analytics, Ad networks, or Cloud storage) that may collect information used to identify you.
4. Security
We value your trust in providing us access to your camera. Since all processing happens locally on your device and no data is uploaded to the internet, your visual data remains under your physical control. However, remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Since the app does not collect any data at all, it is inherently compliant with children's privacy regulations (COPPA/GDPR).
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
