Magnetic SYstems Laboratory is an experimental laboratory that focuses on the study of the magnetic, electric, and optical properties of magnetic materials in various forms such as solid, nanoparticles, molecules, or organic-inorganic hybrids . The ultimate goal of our research is to measure and explain the physical properties of magnetic materials and their applications.
Quantum magnetism with X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) / X-ray Magnetic Circular Dichroism (XMCD)
Macroscopic measurement by Superconducting QUantum Interference Device (SQUID) or Vibrating Sample Measurement (VSM)
X-ray or Neutron Scattering for crystal or magnetic structures
Electrical property by Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS) or Hall effect
The purpose of our laboratory is to explore new frontiers in innovative materials, particularly those with nanostructures and compounds with exceptional physical properties.
