Magic Slate is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how our mobile application, Magic Slate, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our services.
1. Privacy Overview and Local Storage
No User Accounts: Magic Slate does not require any login, registration, or user account creation to be used.
100% Local Storage: All drawings, creations, and data generated by you within the application are saved exclusively on your device's local storage. We do not upload, store, or back up your information to any cloud servers.
2. Information Collected Automatically (Third-Party Providers)
While we do not directly collect personal data, the application integrates third-party services that automatically collect technical data and device identifiers for analytics, advertising, and proper app functionality:
Firebase Crashlytics: Used to detect software bugs, crashes, and unexpected application behavior. It collects technical data at the time of the crash, including device model, operating system version, and crash logs.
Google Analytics for Firebase: Used to understand how users interact with the app (e.g., which drawing tools are used most frequently). This helps us improve the user experience and is analyzed in an anonymous, aggregated manner.
Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements within the application. AdMob may collect and use data such as your device's Google Advertising ID (GAID) to personalize ads and measure advertising performance.
Google Play In-App Billing: Processing of all in-app purchases is handled securely and directly by the Google Play Store. We do not have access to, nor do we store, your credit card or financial billing information.
3. Links to Third-Party Privacy Policies
The third-party services utilized by our application are governed by their own privacy policies. You can review them via the links below:
4. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
Integrated ad networks (AdMob) are configured to serve non-personalized, family-friendly ads if a child user is detected or if the app is targeted at families.
5. Opt-Out and Data Control Rights
You can stop personalized advertising data collection at any time by resetting or limiting your advertising identifier in your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads). You can also stop all local and technical data collection immediately by uninstalling the application.
