About Us

Clinton M. Barkhouse, also known as Clint Barkhouse found his love in magic at age 10 in Hamilton Ontario Canada. ​

Clint's father was a Chemist of 24 years that started having heart issues. Clint's father had two older daughter's were settled in Brantford with their own families. 

This is when Clint's dad also named, Clinton B. Barkhouse (SR) aka: Barky moved his wife Lisette and their son Clint jr. (The Magician) all to Brantford Ontario Canada. ​

Magic started as a hobby in Hamilton originally and by 1987 Clint started performing Magic Shows publicly at Events and Parties in Brantford Ontario Canada!  Clint helped so many charitable organizations, while also giving back to the Communities over many years.  

Some events had 300 people when Clint started performing magic! 

What many didn't know about Clint, is that he was extremely shy. 

How can someone so shy, suddenly perform in front of large crowds was magic itself! 

You see, Clint found Magic as a coping tool to overcome his shyness. 

Clint continued to booked many more magic shows that soon followed.

Clint grew his business in magic, over many years traveling throughout Southwestern Ontario Canada!

Clint enjoyed performing magic with several different type of mechanical magic tricks that is his preference.

These tricks are also known as Parlor Magic, that is the type of Magic Show Clint truly enjoys to this very day! 

Magic tricks are fun, entertaining like a "game" or a "puzzle..." while trying to figure out how the magic works.

Magic tricks are not all mechanical workings; as there are unlimited magic secrets to make the magic happen!

Something devastating happened to Clint's parents and family home in 1989.

Clint, at age 19... his magic once a hobby and something like a family business, ( that Clint had with his Parents ) came to a sudden close.

Was known as "Magic By Clint" that was no more.

Clint was 19 and had to find real steady jobs out-there. Clint started working at Canada Post as a mail handler/sorter as he struggled, while also working as a Forklift Operator at another place of employment... until settling down and married to his first wife Tina in early 1990's.

As a husband and wife team, Clint opened the magic again in the 90's era, with Grant money and help of "The Brantford Business Initiative Unlimited Program" ( a 3 year Ontario Government Pilot Program where Clint completed a Business Course through this Program. ) not only as a "hobby..." as this time, an actual business!

Sadly throughout many years, there were personal problems with two marriage breakdowns and divorce's. 

Happier note Clint became a single Dad raising his daughter Fulltime on his own successfully.

During Clint's time as a single full-time dad, Clint operated Magic 4 Parties Online Magic Shop during Pandemic of 2020.

This way Clint can raise his daughter, while working from home online... with his online magic shop!

Clint used to sell a huge product inventory of over 13,000 magic tricks, 3,000 magic digital downloads and playing cards Canada-Wide!

Today, both Clint and his daughter Ash are still living together in London Ontario currently in 2023!

Clint in his 50's now has a few health related issues and other factors, lead to the closing of his online magic shop.

Clint needed work that he can do, to accommodate certain healthcare related needs... while doing something that he truly enjoys and very good at.....

This was MAGIC SHOWS!  

Therefore, Clint decided to rebrand Magic 4 Parties aka Magic 4 Parties Online Magic Shop into Magic By Clint Barkhouse! 

Now, Clint with the help of his daughter Ash, ( now in her 20's ) both decided to re-create Magic By Clint Barkhouse which was the original business name in the 90's that is legally registered now as a business in London Ontario Canada! ​

Our service area is Southwestern Ontario, and Southern Ontario Canada.

Our Magic Shows are a fun type of Family Show, that is age appropriate for all ages!

Clint specializes in Children Party Magic Shows that are great for indoors in the family home or Community Centers, or outdoors at public parks with magic only and no balloons... as many nowadays has latex allergies.

Clint's Magic Shows are safe for all and latex free, so that all can enjoy the magic presentations!

It is recommended "Magic Show Bookings are to be made two weeks in advance with payment."

This allows time for Payment to post in full which is required before the Magic Show Booking.

Payment is made by using PayPal ONLY. 

Proof of payment  (once that payment is posted) will be emailed to the customer that's booking the Magic Show. 

We do not accept CASH or any other form of payments. 

Just easier to keep track of... for both our services and most importantly,

our potential and repeat customers.
