Our combined approach of Western and Eastern remedies create a true integration of holistic based care entitled to your individual needs. Our skilled professionals are licensed acupuncturists and certified herbalists. Additionally, we have an in-house nutritional consultant who can help you maintain and improve your health. Acupuncture is used to treat any kind of pain or disorder including bone fractures, back/ankle pain, tinnitus, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, diabetes, heart conditions, asthma attacks, fertility, impotence, menopause, and many others. It is also used of facial and skin rejuvenation, weight loss, and smoking cessation, among others. Our licensed herbalists also can create custom herbal remedies and formulas for your individual needs. Our Western therapies include massage therapy, nutritional counseling, heat padding, and chiropractic work all provided by licensed professionals. We also do accept insurance. Dr. Rong Bing Zhu proudly continues his family's tradition of Eastern healing. His father practiced Western medicine as a licensed Medical doctor in Beijing, China for over 64 years and practiced herbal pharmacy for the past 55 years. His mother was a licensed Obstetrician for over 55 years in China. His grandfather, opened the first ever herbal pharmacy in Putian, China for over 60 years. The doctor has a long history of practicing medicine since his childhood years and loves healing others as a life passion.
Dr. Rong Bing Zhu has a decorated education and experience. In 1981, he obtained an Associate Degree in Clinical Medicine at Fujian Quanzhou Medical College. In 1989, he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 1993, he was inducted as a diplomate in Acupuncture of the NACCAOM USA. In 1994, he was inducted as a diplomate in Chinese Herbology of the NCCAOM USA. In 1995, he received the Certification in Nutrition at BMCC. He also received his New York State Acupuncture License where he could start to practice. In 2010, he received his PHD in Oriental Medicine at the American Liberty University. He has worked in China since his childhood years where he interacted with patients who were under his parents' care. He practiced in numerous hospitals in China since 1989. He has practiced in America since 1995 and has worked Eastern Medical PC at Bayside.
