Co-Director of Community Engagement Summer 2020-Present
B.E.A.M. stands for Believe, Educate, Apply, Manifest. This completely student-led national organization aims to connect driven high schoolers with one another to make friends across the nation in their cohort, find mentors, share resources, & help one another through the college process.
Awarded the President's Volunteer Service Silver award for 75+ hours of work at BEAM
Researched & forged a partnership with Alessandro De La Torre and his company, ScholarCash
Visualize, plan, & host events such as the wildly successful BEAMathon conference (1000+ attendees)
Helped connect the BEAM promotional team to ~10 principals at local high schools
Assisted matching mentors with mentees for our popular mentorship program (over 230 successful matches this year alone)
Monitor chats, send daily icebreakers in the Slack workspace, & entertain the community during Zoom nights
Moderate the #ideas channel, implement feedback to expand the initiatives, & promote the organization
Handle behavior that violates community guidelines, & help update the community guidelines document
Collegiate Council Representative & Ambassador Summer 2020-Present
The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) is an invitation-only academic honor society that aims to connect driven high school students with scholarships, resources, leadership opportunities, & an extensive professional network.
Contributed 2 pieces thus far to the NSHSS blog/social media etc.
Hosted & participate in panels such as Global Student Voices (2 thus far)
Gave a virtual, personalized tour of campus life at my college through the NSHSS Social Media Campus Takeover initiative
Mentor new Ambassadors & advise them on outreach, academics, social situations, etc.
Participate in various NSHSS-focused outreach & awareness activities such as the NSHSS Winter Campaign
Visualized, planned, designed, and distributed the brand-new NSHSS Ambassador yearbook (see Projects for more information)

Florida State Fair is an annual opportunity for youth to showcase the animals and their training from throughout the year in a large, statewide fair.
Lead and/or contribute to ~3 educational seminars per year to educate youth exhibitors on topics such as health, safety, and show ring etiquette
Educate the public about llamas/alpacas during events such as the annual Ask-Me-Booth & encourage team members to do the same
Check in youth to seminars & direct them to where they need to be at ~3 workshops per year
