Magenta Spreen Biography:

Magenta Spreen is the musical project of husband and wife Kristen Gradwohl and Talmon Owens.Before forming Magenta Spreen, Kristen got her start performing with members of The California Honeydrops and later opened for artists like Larkin Poe with her band Valley Soul. As a solo artist, Talmon shared stages with acts like Mapache and Anthony Green. Magenta Spreen has a deep connection with melody, harmony. Their songwriting draws inspiration from personal experience, nature and artists like Elliott Smith, Neil Young, and Phoebe Bridgers. Kristen performed the song "Infinity" for Talmon at their wedding and went on to write "My Sweet Adeline" reflecting on her new role as a stepmother.
