Professional Basketball Coach | PE Teacher | Shooting Stars Basketball Academy Founder

Coach Jabs Magdua is a passionate and dedicated professional coach with years of experience developing young athletes both on and off the court. As a licensed Physical Education teacher and the founder of Shooting Stars Basketball Academy, he combines expert knowledge of sports science with a heart for mentoring youth.

Known for his holistic coaching approach, Coach Jabs focuses not only on skill development and physical conditioning, but also on mindset, discipline, and character building. Whether training athletes in-person or online, he ensures that each player is empowered to level up their game, embrace challenges, and reach their fullest potential.

His academy provides structured, age-appropriate basketball training and opens doors for aspiring student-athletes to pursue scholarships, varsity opportunities, and personal growth through sport.

With a growing community of players under his guidance both in Metro Manila and in provincial areas, Coach Jabs continues to inspire excellence, resilience, and love for the game.

 

He has  over 10 years of experience in the Academe as a Physical Education instructor focusing on student development and implementing training programs for various sports. He also has proven track record of mentoring and guiding students and athletes to achieve their full potential. 

He has a Diploma of Higher Education (Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Rizal Technological University. He has worked as a Physical Education Professor at Infant Jesus Academy and Claret School of Quezon City, where he developed and implemented sports programs for students and athletes. As a Sports Coach for the Global Peace Culture Exchange Association, he has mentored and developed athletes across different sports as well

Professional Experience

Worked as a Physical Education Professor at Infant Jesus Academy for 3yrs and Claret School of Quezon City fro 8 years, where he developed and implemented sports programs for students and athletes.
