Magdalena Cantoria (born October 25, 1924) is a Filipino botanist known for her research on the morphology, physiology, and biochemistry of medicinal plants. She has done basic studies on pharmacognosy of agar, auwolfia, datura, mint and Piper.
She graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Parmasia in 1947 and also completed at the same university a Masterate of Science in Botany in 1951. She earned a Master's degree in Science in Parmasia in 1955 at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and completed her Doctorate in Botany at the University of Chicago in 1961.
