My name is Miles, and I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Bristol, UK. I specialise in portrait illustration and do a wide range of personal and commissioned work. 

My favourite moment is that one where I draw in the curve of a mouth or the curve of a brow and the character takes life. Recently I have enjoyed adding more colour and abstraction to my portraits.

Some of my friends seem to like it and others say I have something of a 'distinctive style'. I only hope that you will think so too. 

In addition to drawing, I enjoy a range of art practices: photography, collage, mosaic, lino cutting, stained glass making, filmmaking, graphic design, and upcycling furniture.

Outside of my art practice, I enjoy playing guitar, learning languages and reading 20th-century modernist realism.
