Atomic Focus, by MadSwarm Studio · Effective 25 September 2026
In short: Atomic Focus doesn't collect, send or share any of your data. Everything you create in the app stays on your device.
The projects, tasks, focus sessions, notes and settings you create are saved only in the app's private storage on your phone. The app has no internet access (it doesn't request the Android internet permission), no account, no advertising and no analytics or crash-reporting services, so none of this information ever reaches us or anyone else.
If you have Android backup turned on, Android may include the app's data in your personal backup to your Google account, so it can be restored on a new phone. That backup is managed by Google under your Google account settings; we have no access to it. You can turn it off in your phone's settings.
Notifications: to show the running timer and tell you when time is up.
Alarms & reminders (optional): so the time's-up alert plays exactly on time.
Foreground service, run at startup, vibration: to keep the timer reliable while a session runs, restore it after the phone restarts, and vibrate when time is up.
None of these give the app access to your personal information.
You can delete any session or project inside the app. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your device.
The app isn't directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
