Meet the Counseling Team
We've all had that bad day where something has us down, or maybe you're having a hard time asking for help, or possibly you're worried about the future... All of these thoughts make it really difficult to focus in school or be present with friends and family. Sometimes, talking it out or learning strategies to cope can help with that-- that's where we step in.

As your school therapist, I support all students to work through challenging times and strong emotions.
My work is short-term school based therapy. My goal is to assist you with advocacy, motivation, and make sure all students know that it is "okay to not be okay!" I am here to support you emotionally to the best of my ability! You may meet with the school counselor first, and if there is more in depth support you may need, I will step in to support you further.

If it's an emergency, tell an adult ASAP or find crisis support here.
All referrals are first sent to the Counseling Team. The Counseling Team will usually respond and check in within a week of the referral, depending on how urgent it is. A member of the Counseling Team will see you as soon as they can!
If, after meeting with the school counselor a few times, the school counselor recognizes the need for more support, the school counselor may recommend that you meet with our school therapist, Ms. PJ. In either case, counseling is an optional service and completely confidential (what's said in here stays in here, unless there is a safety risk at-hand). Our biggest goal is just to get you the help you need, because we all need a little support sometimes. 😊
