Established in the Gregorian Year 2007, Islamic Calendar Year 1428, we have since then embarked on a mission of Inspiring, educating and developing the future teachers, leaders and mentors for future generations in Islamic Knowledge, Etiquettes, Wisdom and understanding. Alhamdulillah through our variuous Programs and Initiatives we have entrenched a strong foothold both witin South Africa as well as abroad.
BELOW IS THE LIST OF ALL OUR INSTITUTIONS AND POJECTS THAT WE HAVE UNDERTAKEN AND CONTINUE TO SUPPORT AND DEVELOP:
We could not have achieved this without the vision and knowledge of our executive team, the dedication of our Management Team and the execution of our operational team. All praise is for Allah for guiding and supporting us in this noble Endeavour. A mission and purpose of Spreading the truth of Islam, defining it's purpose for humanity. Below are some of the initiatives and programs that we have established to date:
1. Education: operating and running ulooms and makaatib in and outside south africa. engaging experienced scholars with students and the general public on current issues.
2. humanitarian programs: borehole facilities: in order to supply clean water to the community, boreholes were established in malawi, gambia & mackenzie park.
feeding scheme: a feeding program is established at each institute as satisfying hunger is a virtuous act of charity.
open kitchen: operating in benoni
town - south africa. a quality meal is served to the most vulnerable & needy persons of society.
community pantry:clothing, shoes, bedding, sanitary, stationery & groceries are distributed to people of all race and ethnicity in a dignified manner.
communal shower: from our community pantry we provide an excellent facility for the most needy persons to take a shower. as almighty god loves those whom are conscious of their hygiene & cleanliness.
financial support:
1. married students are given a stipend for their families back home.
2. we support those in a crisis by either providing a platform of support or assist them financially.
3. Hunger and disaster management. miftah-ul-khair & wattville islamic centre have joined hands with local activist in supporting individuals or members of the public during a crisis such as xenophobia, covid-19 etc.
3. da’wah programs: a special da’wah office is located in benoni cbd - 11 rosthsay avenue. we also have street daees operating in and around the wattville township from mon — sat in collaboration with our unique mobile da’wah vehicle.
4. jumuah programs: our musallah is an open platform for experienced & professionals to share their advices with our students & members of the general public. we also provide a special facility for females
5. Taraweeh: our students offer their services at various venues.
6. Eid program. our eid prayers are very inclusive & family orientated.
7. Qurbani program. the qurbani project is one of the highlights of our annual program. We welcome you to join us with family and friends..
