Bio: Currently, I am a postdoctoral scholar at Dr. Veronica Ciocanel's research group at Duke University.
I obtained a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics at University of Colorado, Boulder (Dr. Nancy Rodriguez). Prior to that, I received my BSc in Mathematics from Nazarbayev University (Dr. Zhibek Kadyrsizova) and my MSc in Mathematics from Simon Fraser University (Dr. Caroline Colijn).
My research interests are mathematical biology/ecology/sociology. I focus on the analysis of dynamics in deterministic models. I am also interested in other parts of mathematics such as abstract algebra, graph theory, and topology. Ideally, I would like to see more pure mathematics tools implemented in mathematical biology.
