Who We Support
Who We Support
Located in the Bay of Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala, Manos de Compasion is a childrens' home serving the Lord in the care of the orphan and preaching the gospel to the lost. Our number one goal is to raise up abandon, abused, and forgotten children to be men and women of Christ. Our area of ministry is made up of 5 main buildings, including 4 ministry houses and a school. Each of the ministry houses have "house parents" that look after the children in those specific houses. Follow us as we serve the Lord with the talents and gifts he has given us!
For children who have nowhere to go and have suffered loss of parenting due to abandonment, abuse, neglect and death, these words are more than just a cliché. They represent the beginning of a journey toward healing and wholeness. Situated among the horse and cattle ranches of Marion County Florida; The Ranch provides a rural atmosphere that is conducive to nurture and growth.
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.
The Aboud School was founded in 1970 by missionary Margaret Gaines. It continues to this day, enabling children in Israel to #SendTheLight of Christ to their communities. Said principal Suhaila Khoury, "The Lord Jesus Christ is our foundation."
Our Missionaries
When Bishop Walter passed away in July 2014, Carla Davis felt the call to missions on her life and submitted. In 2015, Carla picked up the torch and headed to Brazil where she is now a missionary.
