Madeline Bossi

I am a third year graduate student in the Department of Linguistics at UC Berkeley. My main interests are in syntax, semantics, and morphology. I explore questions in these areas primarily through the lens of verb-initial languages (Kalenjin languages and Scottish Gaelic). You can find out more about my work on my Research page. Before coming to Berkeley, I received my BA in linguistics and French in 2017 at Pomona College.

Outside of linguistics, I enjoy running (slowly), singing along to the Mamma Mia movies, and FaceTiming my dog Heather.
