Health Science Technology

During this half day event, we brought together 70 high school students from Medford, Blooming Prairie, and Owatonna High School to connect them with local professionals from the Health Science Technology field.

Students and Healthcare professionals gathered at Mayo Clinic Health System- Owatonna campus, where an panel of experts from the Mayo Clinic-Owatonna presented.

Students experienced short-term and long-term care with a tour of Koda Living Community and also toured Allina Hospital's Learning Lab.

A local panel of healthcare experts from Wottreng Family Dental, Michaelson Funderal Home, Balanced Healthcare Centers, and Horizon Eye Care Professionals also presented to students sharing their career paths, successes, challenges, and opportunities.
