Students will complete up to 3 sight reading exercises. Each of the 3 exercises represent a different level of difficulty. You will use sightreadingfactory.com to complete this portion of your placement.

Instructions are below.  I am sharing a code to allow you a paid membership to this online program.  

You should not have to pay at all to use this website.  The code allows you full access to the software.

Sight-Reading Vocal Evaluations for 2024-2025

In order to complete the required sight reading portion of your audition, you must use the sightreadingfactory.com website.

CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT:

●To sign up, use this link:

(Even if you already have a student account at your school, you will need to register as a student under my class.)

● Select the appropriate age group and complete the registration information. You will need to use an email address and select a password. Please remember these for future access to this Account.

● Once you register, go to the ‘Classes’ tab, click ‘Enroll’ and select the option: “New Student Placements for the 2024-25 School Year”

COMPLETING THE EXERCISES:

● Once you have joined the “New Student Placements for the 2024-25 School Year” class you will be able to access the assignments.

● There are three Evaluation Exercises. They are due by May 10th or sooner.

● You will have limited attempts to complete each exercise.

● Make sure you choose ‘Voice’ as your desired part for the “instrument”.

Feel free to use the website to practice on your own as much as you want.  Once you are ready to record, you will click on the Assignment to access the required exercises.
