I joined the Dixie L. Leavitt School of Business staff in October of 2018 as the Career Services Coordinator. I have the best job in the world because I get to help students achieve the goals they have for employment after their college career. As a small town, Colorado girl, SUU was a big plus because I get to be in a small town and work in a career I am truly passionate about.

Before I took on this role, I have had several roles in higher education. At SUU I have been an Academic Advisor and a Team Lead for the College of Education and Human Performance. At other institutions I have held positions in Admissions, Career Services, and faculty development. I love all that higher education has to offer and am passionate about working with students. I have a BA in Anthropology from Weber State University, and my MBA from Globe University.

When I am not teaching students about job search materials (resumes, cover letters, interviewing, LinkedIn, and networking), meeting with employers, taking students on career trips; you will find me serving as the President Elect of the SUU Women's Network or being a Mentor on campus for first semester freshman. Helping students succeed is a big part of who I am, so I often volunteer for roles that connect me to students. I love attending SUU sporting events and cultural offerings like plays and concerts

Away from SUU, I enjoy spending time with my husband who is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at SUU. I love music and am always attending concerts. I also have a deep interest in ancient cultures, so if you ever want to spend hours talking about Ancient Egypt, come find me! I love to travel and spend time outdoor with my two large dogs.
