My name is Madelynne Avila and I am a first-generation college graduate of Cal Poly Humboldt. I received my Master of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Academic Research of Developmental Psychology. My thesis incorporated theories of developmental, cognitive, and social psychology to observe college student's levels of autonomy, self-regulation, and academic self-efficacy during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a continuous learner, I seek opportunities that provide a challenge and room to grow. I am looking to apply my skills in research, community engagement, nonprofit development, and marketing to further my career in Environmental Conservation.
