Midwestern Association of Chemistry Teachers IN Liberal Arts Colleges

Welcome!

MACTLAC is an organization the brings together teachers of chemistry from liberal arts colleges and regional universities for the purpose of exchanging ideas and improving undergraduate chemistry education in the Midwest.

The organization serves to promote the teaching of chemistry, to network with colleagues at other schools, and to create a community among chemistry faculty in the Midwest. The MACTLAC region includes the states of Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri. 

Each fall, members gather at a MACTLAC institution for an annual two-day meeting.

The group also welcomes those who are interested in teaching chemistry at a liberal arts institution or a regional university.
