Cameroonian MaC Research Group

Membership in the Cameroonian MaC Research Group is open to any Cameroonian researcher whose research is related to Cryptology. The membership is also also open to any Cameroonian whose activities can more or less foster research in cryptology and related fields.

Membership benefits include:

• Access to research funding obtained by the group.

• Collaboration with other group members and distinguished invited speakers from all around the world.

• Access to all MaC events (talks, workshops, social events, ...).

• Eligibility to run for roles in the managing committee of the Group.

• Supporting your international visibility.

• Receiving newsletters and notifications about cryptology events, scholarships, grants and other opportunities.

There are two types of membership:

• Student membership for students, they can not run for group Leader or Vice Leader positions.

• Regular membership for established researchers.

Membership is for a year where a year runs from 1st September of year X to 31st August of year X+1.

New members: a new membership subscription expires on the next 31st August following the subscription.

Membership renewal: a member who wishes to renew his membership is highly recommended to do so before the current membership expires.

The group is managed by a team made up of:

• A Head

• A Vice Head

• A Secretary

• A Treasurer

This managing team members are elected by the group members for a period of two years (renewable).
