• Documents: We collect and store images and PDF files of your documents such as Passport Bio Pages, 10th/12th Mark Sheets, Diploma/Degree certificates, and English Proficiency Test results (IELTS/PTE).

• Visa Details: Information regarding your visa status, refusals (if any), and travel history.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for providing and improving our services:

• To process your study visa or immigration enquiries.

• To maintain a document checklist for your application.

• To communicate updates regarding your process via App notifications or WhatsApp.

• To verify the authenticity of documents provided for the application process.

3. Storage and Security

• Backend Storage: Your personal profile data is securely stored using Supabase (PostgreSQL).

• Document Storage: All uploaded files are stored on secure Wasabi S3 cloud storage servers.

• Encryption: We use industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) to protect data during transmission.

• Access Control: Only authorized employees (Counselors/Admins) have access to your documents for processing purposes.

4. Permissions We Request

To provide full functionality, the App may request the following permissions:

• Internet Access: To sync data with our servers.

• Storage/Media Access: To allow you to pick and upload documents from your gallery or file manager.

• Notifications: To send you real-time updates about your visa process.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy.

• User Rights: You have the right to request access to your data or request the deletion of your account and documents by contacting us at it@macroglobalmoga.net.

6. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services like Supabase, Wasabi, and WhatsApp API to facilitate our services. These third parties have their own privacy policies regarding how they handle data.

7. Account Deletion Request 

To request the deletion of your Macro Global account and all associated personal data (including uploaded documents), please send an email to it@macroglobalmoga.net with the subject line 'Account Deletion Request'. Our team will process your request and delete your data from our Supabase and Wasabi servers within 7 business days.
