We are glad to announce the INdAM Workshop on mathematical and computational imaging across modalities (MACRO).

The workshop will bring together researchers working in the field of imaging inverse problems, with contributions on three specific imaging data, namely natural and spectral, biomedical and seismic images. 

The aim of the event is to detect and highlight possible connections between the different applications, and explore fruitful synergies among the approaches employed in each field.

The discussion will be enriched by the contributions of speakers from academia and from industry, who will provide an insightful vision for the challanges that the imaging community will face in the next future. 

Finally, a volume in the Springer INdAM Series dedicated to the MACRO Workshop will be published in the months following the closing of the event.
