Mac McLeod is a Class "A" PGA of Canada Golf Professional. He is currently an Associate Professional and Golf Coach at the Royal Colwood Golf Club, in Victoria, BC, Canada.
Mac started golfing in Brandon, MB at the age of 5. At age 13 he started working at the Taurus Golf Driving Range for 8 years, and was custom fitting golf clubs at the age of 15. In 1997 he graduated with a Golf Complex Management Degree from The Golf Academy of the South, in Orlando. He immediately started his PGA of Canada career as an Assistant Professional at Southwood GC in Winnipeg, with a very heavy teaching schedule. He would also spend the winter months teaching indoors at the Winnipeg Golf Dome. In 2003 he spent his time chasing a dream of owning a PGA Tour Card by playing on the MacKezie Tour - PGA Tour Canada for 2 years, plus others. In 2006 Mac took his skills and knowledge out West where he started up a successful Junior Program at the Turner Valley Golf Course. Once he accomplished that goal, he progressed to the Royal Colwood Golf Club in 2008 where he added a critical highlight to his resume. One of his students at the age of 15 became the 2016 BC Amateur Champion and won a Gold Medal at the 2016 BC Summer Games.
