Digital Artist & Filmmaker
MacK George is a student, filmmaker, 2nd AC and digital artist originally from Davidsonville, MD. Through her platform, @MooTanukii, she releases her funky and character-driven illustrations into the world with a following of horror and alternative music fans alike. Hand in hand with her visual art, MacK’s films are made with a fierce passion for supernatural concepts and moody visuals that complete the individual themes of each piece. She's passionate, collaborative, and often jumps on opportunities to better herself and her work.
In addition to filmmaking, MacK loves taking photos of her friends, making digital illustrations and developing her own stories. MacK is currently developing a comic titled "Scram!"
She’s passionate about hardcore subgenres of alternative rock and loves bad horror movies.
MacK George is a freshman at Savannah College of Art and Design and was previously at Annapolis High School in the AACPS Apex Arts Magnet Program. She is majoring in Film and minoring in Sequential Arts with a concentration on film production and comic illustration. MacK is a hardworking and determined student who wrote, directed, illustrated and edited her Anne Arundel County Film Festival award-winning solo capstone titled ‘Drywalled'. Completing this production in under 4 months taught her skills in time-management, determination and critical thinking. MacK has completed multiple short-time projects in the past, such as her Sophomore year final project ‘Door,’ a cheesy love-letter to the found footage subgenre of horror, and ‘Working Title,’ a 14-page comic about imposter syndrome and growing up. MacK is also a returning student at Filmsters Academy, each year crafting a single full-length short film with 12 other incredible student artists in only two weeks time. Her experiences at Filmsters each summer continue to help guide her creative processes during the school year.
Her most recent effort with Filmsters Academy, the 2025 short film "Who Knew?" is her favorite live-action project she's ever worked on to date. She was 2nd AC and Sound Designer.
