About Me

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Mackenna Mills and I am so excited to be your child's teacher!  I used to be Miss Lohrman, but I got married this past Summer and I am now officially Mrs. Mills.  This year is going to be so much fun with lots of learning! 

I am originally from San Diego and I have lived in Austin for 9 years now.  I graduated from the University of San Diego in 2014 with my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies/Education.  I have my EC-6 teaching certificate and I am also certified in ESL.  I love play based and project learning to get your child to interact and engage with others.  

I have a dog named Arya who is my little angel.  I also have a cat named Luna who is a big cuddle bug.  I love to dance, bake, embroider, do anything outdoors, and I am a major kid at heart.  Teaching is such a passion of mine and I love to see their creative minds and help students grow.
