History

The project began in 2022 when Lucas Bearden and Hunter Locke started writing music under the name Wavelength, also referred to as BearSoup. At the time, Lucas had a growing collection of songs without a clear direction or full band to bring them to life.

In late 2024, the project evolved into Machines Still Bleed after Lucas began collaborating closely with Hunter, Isaac Almeida, and Kayla Porzio. Together, they shaped the material into a cohesive sound and began work on their debut album, Machines Still Bleed.
