Voting Systems in Mabruenia

Voting, or the electoral system, is how we elect representatives into the Parliament. 

While Lillia's Parliament is merged into the Mabruenian Parliament, Lillia, Mabruenia, and Nicene Parliaments use different voting systems.

Elections are done every 4 years nationwide, and on December 17th of the month before elections, Parliament is dissolved, and elections are commenced on January 18th, with inauguration taking place on January 25th.

What makes you eligible to vote?

What makes you eligible to vote within the Kingdom? You must be:

• A citizen of either the United Kingdom of Lillo-Mabruenia, or the Mabruenian-Nicene Commonwealth, either globally or physically. 

• You must be 15 years old or older in order to vote.

Who cannot vote in elections?

Non-citizens, including visitors, diplomats, residents, cannot vote in elections, and if you have committed a felony within the UKLM or the Mabruenian-Nicene Commonwealth.
