About me

I’m Maayeesha Farzana, a Master’s student at Université PSL, Paris, exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and society. With a background in Computer Science and a passion for understanding complex systems, I investigate how machine learning and data can reveal insights into human behavior, environmental resilience, and digital safety. My projects span hate speech detection in low-resource languages, data visualization in genomics, and sustainable urban farming models. Beyond research, I have contributed to global climate initiatives with Green Lead  and served as General Secretary of IEEE Women in Engineering at CUET, advocating for inclusive innovation.

I’m passionate about advancing socially responsible AI, building fair language models, and developing data-driven solutions. Through my work, I aim to create technology that is both intelligent and socially meaningful.
