Overview

Maa Vaishnodevi College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2019 under the ambit of the SUHECT Group of Institutions with an annual intake of 60. It is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and Affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology. Our college has an independent spacious building with good infrastructure as per the norms of the regulatory bodies. The institution has designed a course pattern that meets the requirements of world-class quality and provides the necessary academic environment to maintain the standards of the pharmacy profession. Our institution motivates and orients the students in wider aspects of the pharmaceutical experience and provides comprehensive industrial and research training.

Infrastructure

Maa Vaishnodevi College of Pharmacy, established in 2019 boasts some of the best facilities to promote comprehensive teaching and learning. The labs in Maa Vaishnodevi College of Pharmacy are spacious and well equipped. Dedicated Lab for Pharmacology, Pharmachemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy account for the significant research contribution from Maa Vaishnodevi College of Pharmacy. Facilities for herbal drug development are available in our labs, enabling the students to learn and practice drug development process. Maa Vaishnodevi College of Pharmacy regularly conducts Seminars and training programs for our students on issues related to pharmaceutical industries such as drug regulation, sales, and marketing.

Apart from these, the students and faculty have unlimited access to campus facilities such as redoubtable Health Sciences, Library, IT services and Sports. Also, the MVCP students can interact with the students of other institutions to enlarge their horizons.   

Library

Maa Vaishnodevi College of Pharmacy provides access to a range of databases on the campus network, e-resources, books, and journals. It has a separate computer lab and group study area.

I has a central library in 2019 and later shifted to an independent building at MVCP in 2021. Given the future academic requirements, the college has e-books, journals, and databases in the building.

Hostel Overview

Maa Vaishnodevi College of Pharmacy has a separate hostel section under the management of the Hostel Management Committee. This committee is headed by its Chairperson. The Chief Warden, MVCP who is the secretary of the Committee looks after the daily aspects of the hostel management. 

Each hostel has a Warden from the teaching faculty of the colleges who is responsible for the discipline, maintenance of the building, allotment of rooms, etc. There are separate messes for both boys and girls located in different areas of the Campus.
